o demonstrate its confidence that the business climate will recover after the COVID-19 pandemic, Indonesian hospitality management consultancy company PP Hospitality, a business unit of PT PP Properti, has announced its plan to open a new hotel in Balikpapan in October.
The hotel opening has been confirmed by PT PP Properti commercial and hospitality director Sinur Linda Gustina M.
The company offers management and consultancy services for hotels in Indonesia. PP Hospitality management is also the owner and operator of four hotels across the country.
The hotels are: the Prime Park hotel in Bandung, West Java and Pekanbaru, Riau, as well as Park Hotel in Cawang, East Jakarta and Palm Park hotel and convention center in Surabaya, East Java.
PP Hospitality group also acts as an owner representative for the Swiss-Belhotel and Residences in Balikpapan Ocean Square.
The PP Hospitality states in its official press release that the five hotels have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Yet, the company has begun to reopen all hotels in strict compliance with the government’s advice on health and hygiene protocols.
The new hotel in Balikpapan will also open for business under observance of the health and hygiene standards after it opens in October, according to the company’s plans.
PP Hospitality group itself reopened its existing five hotels as early as in July.
