Garuda Indonesia has reportedly returned up to 3,929 items left behind in its cabins between January and April this year.
Among the items returned, which have an estimated total value of Rp 2.9 billion (US$206,480), were mobile phones, laptops, tablet PCs and accessories such as bags, wallets, eyeglasses and wristwatches.

"The report is part of Garuda Indonesia and [it's subsidiary] Gapura Angkasa's commitment to highlight an honest and customer-oriented work culture and improve our services to all our customers," said Garuda Indonesia service director Nicodemus P. Lampe in a statement on Tuesday.
"We always strive to continue to maintain our quality of service, especially our commitment to secure and return items left behind items inside the cabin," he added. (kes)
