hree YouTubers were swimming at the top of Shannon Falls in Canada when they “slipped and fell into a pool 30 meters below”, according to The Guardian.
The vloggers, Ryker Gamble, Alexey Lyakh and Megan Scraper, were part of High On Life, an extreme travel channel. High On Life, which has over 1 million Instagram followers and 500,000 YouTube subscribers, primarily featured videos from remote locations, like the Falls, and focused on the idea of living in the moment.

Other members of High On Life posted a video mourning the loss, saying that the trio was “three of the warmest, kindest, most driven and outgoing people you could ever meet”.

They also recited the mission statement that Gamble and Lyakh had originally written for the collective: “Accept the fact that everything that makes up your world is there because you attracted it with your own thoughts. Realize that you can control your thoughts and emotions.”
The Vancouver Sun reported that Scraper slipped and fell into one of the lower pools, which was over 30 meters below, causing Lyakh and Gamble to try and save her, but they were then swept into the rapids below. It is unclear if they were filming at the time of their deaths. (sul/kes)
