Bentley has launched its fourth model in Jakarta on Monday.

Introduced by the official Bentley Motors dealership, PT Grandauto Dinamika, the Bentayga SUV is a four- to five-seat vehicle that is equipped with 6.0 liter twin-turbocharged W12 engine with 8-speed automatic transmission. Dubbed the fastest SUV, it delivers 608 PS and 900 Nm of torque, which means its top speed can reach 301 km/h, and it is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds.

Said to be the most luxurious SUV in its premium class, the Bentayga interior consists of handcrafted wood veneers and leather with embroidered Bentley emblems. Bentley also provides a wide range of paint colors, leathers and veneers for its customers to customize their own vehicle. Rear seat passengers can expect to enjoy video, TV and games via tablets installed in the front seat headrests. There are also two 12V power supplies available for the rear seat passengers.

The center panel features a Breitling clock, a Bentley-branded electronic analogue clock. Conveniently, customers are allowed to configure their own vehicle by choosing which accessories they want, ranging from the Breitling clock, a champagne cooler and a picnic case, among other options.

“The price depends very much on how we configure the car, but it’s going to be around Rp 10 billion [US$749,000],” said PT Grandauto Dinamika chief operating officer Roland Staehler during a press conference.

The first units of Bentley Benteyga arrived in Indonesia in August 2016 and most of them were delivered to customers across Java. (kes)
