he teaser trailer for Crazy Rich Asians is here. If you haven’t seen it yet, it’s everything that you’d imagine from the movie squeezed in a 23-second video.
In the teaser, you’ll see quick interactions between Rachel Chu (Constance Wu) and Nick Young (Henry Golding). “You really should have told me that you’re like the Prince William of Asia,” Rachel said, while Nick countered that he’s Prince Harry. There’s also a The Bachelor reference somewhere there, and we’d honestly feel the same way if we had a secretly wealthy fiancé.
You’ll also get a glimpse of the lavish parties, outfits, and Nick’s flashy sports cars in the teaser. These were also shown in the exclusive photos published on Entertainment Weekly, but they feel more real now.

For those who are wondering: No there’s still no sign of Kris Aquino anywhere. But if it’s true that she’s just making a cameo as a princess, then we just have to wait for the movie to come out in August.
The full trailer will premiere this coming Monday so better keep your eyes peeled. For now, feel free to watch the teaser over and over.
