elebrating its New York roots as well as its 30th anniversary, fashion brand DKNY is collaborating with the city’s Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) for a limited-edition capsule collection.

Dubbed the DKNYxMTA, the capsule collection comprises 10 items in classic DKNY styles including shirt dresses, oversized anoraks, printed nylon joggers and hooded sweater dresses. The collection comes in monochromatic tones, featuring printed collages of New York street signage similar to those found in subway stations and bike lanes.

Expect to find such signs as “Speed Limit 30”, “One Way”, as well as playful phrases like “No Parking, No Standing, No Stopping, No Kidding!” and the DKNY logo creatively hidden, for instance in “Don’t Knock New York”, “Downtown DKNY” and “Uptown DKNY”.

Furthermore, the capsule collection greets a wider audience through the distribution of more than 50,000 DKNY-branded metro cards.

The cards, which were first distributed on Sept. 9, were available in a few selected stations including Herald Square, Union Square, Houston Street and Halsey Street stations.

DKNYxMTA capsule collection is available at a pop-up store in Plaza Indonesia, Central Jakarta, from Sept. 20 to Oct. 6. (mut)
