OGOR: The Bogor municipal administration will officially kick off inMay the implementation of a newly passed bylaw regulating no-smokingzones within the city.
Bogor Health Agency head Rubaeah said the 2009 bylaw on the smoke-free zones stipulated eight types of no-smoking zones, including office buildings, closed public spaces, shopping malls, public transportation and places of worship.
“Those violating the bylaw are liable to a Rp 50,000 spot fine or a three-month incarceration,” she said. — JP
