Indonesia is a good example for other states in how to manage the economy of a middle-income country, visiting World Bank managing director Sri Mulyani Indrawati said on Tuesday in Jakarta.

The former finance minister of Indonesia praised the country’s performance as a middle-income nation that could manage economic growth and good economic performance amid the 2008 global financial crisis and the ongoing Eurozone debt crisis.

Your comments:

Are you kidding, World Bank? Why there are still many beggars on Jakarta’s streets? Please explain where the “good” is.

Sri Mulyani will be Indonesia’s next president but someone will take her down.

That is why Sri said there are still many issues to face ahead such as welfare equity.

Your critics on beggars would fall into that category. Please think before you post any comment.

Ibu Any, my advice is please stay in Washington. Don’t bother running for President in 2014, unless you are running for president of the World Bank.

Stay in Washington, you have a great job with great pay within a world class organization.

Stay in Washington, where you can live a life in peace taking care of your children’s future.

Stay in Washington, most importantly because you have and will continue to prove that Indonesia does have a world class professional, and make the global community respect our country.

Why waste your future with Indonesian politics and politicians?
