tarlet Laudya Chintya Bella said that she prefers films to television soap operas.

The reason for this, she explains, is because the former takes much less time, with soap operas usually taking weeks to finish.

“I also like film because it gives me a bigger responsibility. We have to go through long process such as reading and other such things,” she said as quoted by detikhot.com at the weekend.

Another advantage of starring in a movie, the 24-year-old adds, is the chance to be nominated for awards at film festivals, which is considered a prestigious honor for any actress.

Yet, the actress explains that she still cannot leave the television industry, which has propelled her name to stardom and she continues to star in a number of soap operas.
