ity-owned bus operator PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) has announced that bus services on all busway corridors will operate as usual over the Idul Fitri holiday.
“Our operations will run as usual for both BRT [Bus Rapid Transit] on the corridors and non-BRT,” said Transjakarta spokesperson Wibowo on Tuesday as quoted by kompas.com.
The company is arranging a schedule for additional services and double-decker buses on routes that pass through areas with recreational centers, he added. Meanwhile, the number of buses will remain the same at about 1,100 buses.
Transjakarta night services also will run as usual.
President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo recently declared June 23, 27, 28, 29 and 30 public holidays. (wnd)
