Thailand was hit by a rapid succession of explosions Thursday and Friday in five central and southern provinces. Eleven blasts went off within 18 hours of each other, and eight of them went off within an hour and a half of each other.

Thailand was hit by a rapid succession of explosions Thursday and Friday in five central and southern provinces. Eleven blasts went off within 18 hours of each other, and eight of them went off within an hour and a half of each other.

At least four people were killed and dozens wounded. Police have not immediately identified the attackers or their motive.

Here's a list of the attacks:

THURSDAY:

— TRANG, 3 p.m.: A bomb detonated by mobile phone kills one person and injures six at a market in the southern city.

— HUA HIN, 10:15 and 11 p.m.: Two explosions close to each other hit a street popular with tourists in the beach city southwest of Bangkok. The second blast kills one woman and injures 21.

FRIDAY:

— PHUKET, 7:45 a.m.: An explosion at Loma beach at the southern beach city injures one person.

— SURAT THANI, 8 a.m.: An explosion near a police station during an event celebrating the Thai queen's birthday kills one person and injures three in the southern city.

— SURAT THANI, 8:30 a.m.: No one is hurt in an explosion at another police station.

— PHUKET, 8:45 a.m.: No one is hurt in an explosion near a police traffic control booth.

— HUA HIN, 9 a.m.: Two bombs in plant pots under the Hua Hin clock tower detonate within minutes of each other. One person is killed and three are injured.

— PHANG NGA, 9 a.m.: Two bombs detonate in front of a market in the southern province. No one is hurt but two cars are damaged.
