hen you’re a celebrity, having a fashion emergency in the neighborhood, who you gonna call? Christian Siriano, of course. That might not sound right in the Ghostbusters anthem, but actress Leslie Jones absolutely will wear a Siriano couture in the Ghostbusters premiere.
Jones tweeted about her exasperation, Tuesday, about not being offered a gown by any designer for her upcoming premiere event, which caused quite a stir in the fashion world.
It's so funny how there are no designers wanting to help me with a premiere dress for movie. Hmmm that will change and I remember everything

Her tweet immediately got fans responding to the situation, however this simple response from Project Runway alumni and fashion designer Christian Siriano, caught her attention.
@Lesdoggg ✋🏼👋🏼

To which Jones responded with a short and sweet tweet.
@CSiriano YAAAAAASSSSSS

Thus the designer-actress collaboration begins. Siriano, known for his designs worn by major entertainment-industry players, most recently by Jennifer Hudson on BET's Tribute to Prince event, didn’t shy away from Twitter afterwards and stated his stance on dressing those who are not sample size.
It shouldn't be exceptional to work with brilliant people just because they're not sample size. Congrats aren't in order, a change is.

However, stylist Jessica Paster weighs in on the debacle, as she tells HollywoodReporter.com, “She should have known four to five months ago the date of the premiere, and said ‘I’m not a sample size, I need to go to designers early or buy myself a dress.’ Don’t be blaming designers and saying they don’t like you.” Paster’s clients include Emily Blunt and Nia Vardalos.
