reviously named OS X 10.12, macOS Sierra, Apple’s latest operating system, will be released this fall, boasting new features, upgrades and Siri, according to TechRadar.
Since first released for iOS in 2011, Siri has made its debut on the desktop scene. But on macOS Sierra, it promises improvements, including by functioning as a personal assistant. When asking Siri for help, users will reportedly not need to stop whatever they are working on. So you can expect to finish your document while Siri is busy reserving a table for you at a restaurant. It will also be able to find the documents you opened this week.

Other features provided by macOS Sierra include Apple Pay, which enables you to shop online securely; Auto Unlock, which connects your Apple Watch to your Mac; Universal Clipboard, and an upgraded version of iCloud Drive that can be accessed from all of your devices.
The operating system made its first appearance at the annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June alongside the new iOS 10, watchOS 3 and tvOS. Its public beta version was released on July 7 and you can try it by signing up using your Apple ID on Apple Beta Software Program. (kes)
