S-based streaming video service Netflix on Wednesday announced a new download feature that allows subscribers to watch TV shows or movies offline.
The latest version is available for iOS and Android devices.
However, not all shows are available for download. Subscribers can look for downloadable movies through the "Available for Download" tab.

The new feature provides a solution for subscribers of state-owned telecommunications company Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Telkom)'s internet connection service. Since the company blocked the streaming service in January, Telkom users could no longer open Netflix on any platform.
It allows these users to open the application after downloading the shows using other internet service providers. (kes)
