A

merican pop star Katy Perry is said to have prepared several attractive costumes for her upcoming concert on Apr. 14 at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) in BSD, Tangerang.

Perry is known for wearing unique outfits onstage. During her 2012 California Dreams Tour, the singer donned a mini-dress adorned with lollipops that actually twirled. For her 2015 Prismatic World Tour, Perry featured a carousel gown and a cheerleader-like costume adorned with lamps along the fringe.

Perry said she would also bring something unusual to the Indonesian stage, as kompas.com reported on Wednesady.

"I like exciting costumes, something that sparkles, have to do with electronics, something unusual to bring onstage," she said during a phone interview. "I think the ones I'm going to wear were inspired by the late 1980s and late 1990s, will utilize technology advancement, a little excitement and will be a little bit sexy in a mature way."

She added that she might include something Indonesian in her show. "I could wear something that is influenced by Indonesia, to be able to get closer to Indonesian fans. It will be awesome."

Perry also said that she was very happy to return to the country. "I think my fans in Indonesia are very excited and have been looking forward to this for a long time, and the audience also gives me energy."

The upcoming "Witness: The Tour" will be Perry's third concert in Indonesia, following shows on Jan. 19, 2012 and May 9, 2015. (kes)
