ce cream brand Magnum has collaborated with three Indonesian designers; Barli Asmara, Mel Ahyar and Norma Hauri, to launch its latest campaign "Pleasure, Expertly Crafted" and new flavor Hazelnut Luxe.

Held on Wednesday at Studio 6 Emtek City in West Jakarta, the launch event was decorated in the brand's signature color. “For fashion, Magnum focuses on using violet, which has become the latest trend in fashion,” Amalia Sarah Santi, PT Unilever Indonesia head of marketing refreshment, said in a press release.

At the event, three designers showcased their latest collections. Barli Asmara, for instance, said his collection was inspired by art deco and the rich flavor of hazelnut. Each outfit was designed to appear modern, edgy and detail-oriented.

Meanwhile, Mel Ahyar presented a collection from her ready to wear label Mel Ahyar First (MAF). Inspired by the softness and buttery taste of hazelnut paste, Mel used raw cotton and printing on tulle to give a touch of 1920s glamor.

Lastly, modest fashion designer Norma Hauri, whose works are both classy and elegant, said that this was her first collection to use violet as its main color palette. She was inspired by the luxury of Belgian chocolate.

Several singers including Afghan, Raissa and Sheryl Sheinafia also performed during the event. (wir/mut)
