Franz Ferdinand to hold concerts in Jakarta, Bali
Scottish rock band Franz Ferdinand will show up in Jakarta and Bali as it tours the world with material from a new album.

ock band Franz Ferdinand is set to perform in Jakarta and Bali late this year following the release of its latest album, Always Ascending.
The band of Alex Kapranos, Bob Hardy, Paul Thomson, Julian Corrie and Dino Bardot will visit its fans in Jakarta on Nov. 30 at Tennis Outdoor in Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) in Senayan. Indonesian music groups Fourtwnty and Elephant Kind are set to be the guest musicians on that day.

The Scottish band will then fly to Bali to perform on Dec. 2 at Potato Head Beach Club. Guest performers there will be Sunset People Project, Sunmantra & DJ Seabass and DJ Felix Dickinson.
Promoted by Stellar Events, Go Live! And Potateo Head, online ticket sales start this Wednesday at 10 a.m.
Formed in 2002, Franz Ferdinand will perform in other countries as well, including Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea and Japan. (wir/wng)
