Amazon is set to launch its upcoming anthology series Modern Love in June next year.
Based on The New York Times column and weekly podcast, Modern Love falls into the romantic comedy genre. Each of its half-hour episodes will explore the multitude forms of love, including romantic, familial, sexual, platonic and self-love, Variety reported.
The announced cast includes Dev Patel, Tina Fey, Anne Hathaway, John Slattery, Catherine Keener, Andy Garcia, Julia Garner and John Gallagher, Jr.

Begin Again director John Carney serves as writer, director, executive producer and showrunner.
“We’ve managed to assemble a dream cast of my favorite actors,” Carney said.
Emmy Rossum, who starred in TV series Shameless, is set to direct an episode written by the late screenwriter Audrey Wells. Two other directors in the project are Sharon Horgan and Tom Hall, both who wrote their respective episode.
Storied Media Group and The New York Times is producing the series in New York, United States. It is Amazon’s latest anthology series after Matthew Weiner’s The Romanoffs. (iru/mut)
