Blake Lively is reportedly developing a scripted fashion series with Amazon Studios.
A new scripted fashion series by American actress Blake Lively and Amazon Studios is coming to Hollywood.
Amazon Studios head Jennifer Salke announced the new series, which includes an electronic retailing component on Wednesday, at the Vanity Fair New Establishment Summit. Reportedly, Blake Lively is the initiator of the idea behind the fashion-centered scripted series.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the program will simultaneously run a merchandising component, using Amazon’s position as an e-tail giant. The studio is also planning another project based around fashion-competition with Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn, who previously hosted Project Runway show.

Salke said she did not want to use “big volume play” and is currently looking to develop relationships with talents that she might want to work with. One of the possible talents is Jordan Peele.
This announcement came not long after Salke originally took the position vacated by Roy Price after the sexual harassment scandal that ruined the previous Amazon head’s career.
Lively is known for her daring fashion choices and doesn't use a stylist, unlike most Hollywood celebrities. She is best known for her role in the Gossip Girl television series and recently starred in A Simple Favor film. (acr/wng)
