The Jambi Kudju event in Jambi brought together scooter enthusiasts from around the world on Saturday, with Vespa being the star of the day.
Mario Pecorari and Sandra Carozzi, a couple from Treste, Italy, were enjoying themselves at a scooter festival in Jambi on Saturday.
Pecorari and Carozzi found themselves among fellow scooter enthusiasts from Indonesia and countries around the world at the Jambi Kudju event.
Pecorari and Carozzi said they had travelled around the world on scooters since 2003. The couple has been around Europe, South America and now Asia.
They started their Asian journey in Vietnam, from where they headed to Indonesia. They usually stay for a week in every city and make friends with the local scooter community.
“I don’t have any favorite place. Every country, city and town is unique,” Carozzi said.
The two plan to continue their journey to Lake Toba in North Sumatra, located 739 km from Jambi.
“We think it is a beautiful place to relax,” Carozzi said.
