Handijianto (center) and Tony Wijaya (left), who claim to represent some 9,000 customers of troubled securities firm PT Sarijaya Permana Sekuritas, are seen with fund manager Vier Jamal at a press conference in Sarijaya’s office in Jakarta. Following the revelation of an alleged scam reportedly involving Rp 245 billion (US$22.5 million) by the owner of Sarijaya, Jamal said Wednesday he represented a consortium which would buy a 100 percent stake in the company.
