ENPASAR: Denpasar administration will introduce a more effective rabies vaccine during the mass vaccination drive on Jan. 23. The drive will target animals believed to be vectors of the disease, including dogs, cats and monkeys.
Denpasar animal husbandry agency head Dewa Made Ngurah said the new vaccine will provide longer protection compared to the previous vaccine used by the administration. "The new vaccine provides one year of protection while the previous one provided three months of protection," he said Thursday.
