Hotman, who is also known as a bankruptcy lawyer, successfully defended his thesis titled Bankruptcy based on Guaranteed Bond issued by Special Purpose Vehicles Abroad and Guaranteed by Indonesian Companies, Kompas.com reported.

The 52-year-old lawyer thanked Prof. Djuhaendah Hasan for his help on the thesis.

Several celebrities, including duet Anang and Ashanty, Dhani Ahmad, Manohara, Cut Tari, as well as politician Prabowo Subianto attended the dissertation examination.

Hotman, who graduated from Parahyangan University’s Law School, also obtained his master degrees from the University of Technology, Sydney, and Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta. — JP
