AKARTA: Indonesia naturalized two more soccer players on Friday, Ruben Wuarbanaran and Diego Michiels from the Netherlands, who will join the Under-23 squad training camp at Batu, Malang, East Java, next week for possible recruitment.

Ruben and Diego will undergo U-23 selection trials for the upcoming Southeast Asian Games, which will run in November.

Indonesian National Team (BTN) technical division deputy Iman Arif said the two players were just waiting for the final settlement of their documents.

“Today [Friday] they received their identity cards. Ruben and Diego will have their passports and other documents by Monday and are scheduled to go to Batu on Wednesday,” Iman told reporters on Friday.

Iman added that six players were in the process of becoming Indonesian nationals.
