think we should utilize the time of Ramadhan to do as many good deeds as possible. I want to write about three things needed to reach our dreams. I’m sure that everyone must have a dream. What about you? Have you decided what you want to be? Not yet? Oh come on, make up your mind! Now! Please, please decide what you want to be.

I remember what my grandfather said to me: If you don’t have a vision for your life, you will live like a blind person. We cannot see this world clearly. We cannot walk and, of course, we will be adrift at sea since we don’t know what to do. So we should know what we want to do.

There are three things that we must do to reach our dreams. First, we must have a defined intention. Everything we do in this life is based on our intention, right? What we should have so that we can reach our dreams is a clearly defined intention. We have to know what we really want to be.

Do you think you can be a doctor because of your parents’ wishes only? What happened if you don’t have any intention at all of becoming a doctor?

You might become a doctor, but it would be hard. However, you might not enjoy working as a doctor even if you have fulfilled your parents’ wishes. You have just made your parents happy without getting any satisfaction for you yourself.

The second thing that we must do is make an effort. We have already established a clear intention of what we want to be. Now, it’s time for us to make a great effort so that we can reach our dreams. It depends on what our dreams are. Say, for example, that your dream is to be a teacher. What should you do? Do you want to say that you have to study hard and do a lot of practice teaching? That’s an excellent idea, guys, if you are thinking about that. Thanks a lot.

If you really want to be a teacher, you have to study hard and do a lot of practice teaching. Doing practice teaching is important because studying is different from teaching. In teaching, a teacher needs to transfer his knowledge. It’s not the only thing teachers should do. They also have to be patient in facing naughty students. It seems hard, does it? But nothing is impossible as long as we have a firm intention and want to try to do our best.

Third we need resignation to our God. The decision rests with God. Remember, we can make plans and make exertions. However, the final decision on whether or not our plans will come true will be made by God. Remember: we must first define our intentions, then work hard to realize our goals and finally resign ourselves to God’s wishes for us in this life.
