AKARTA: Ten-year-old Fitri Aulia performed another stunt on Monday by climbing a tower linking high-voltage power lines in Tomang, West Jakarta.

Tanjung Duren Precinct deputy chief Adj. Comr. Moch. Hasan said that Fitria had reached the top of the tower by 8 a.m. “She began to hang herself upside down from the power line,” Hasan said as quoted by tempointeraktif.com.

Fitria’s stunt drew a large crowd, which caused a traffic snarl around Rawa Kepa in Tomang.

Police said that Fitria came down from the tower after being persuaded by her mother Sumarni, who promised to take her to the Indonesian Miniature Park (TMII).

This is the 19th time in the past two years the elementary school drop-out has performed dangerous stunts in climbing tall buildings and towers.
