Jakarta ready to hold junior high school national exam

akarta Education Agency head Taufik Yudi Mulyanto gave assurances on Sunday that all junior high school national examination materials had been distributed to five administrative areas and Thousand Islands regency.

'€œAlhamdulillah [Thank God] we have just finished the distribution of exam materials to posts in five administrative areas and the Thousand Islands, which we have carried out in the past two days,'€ Taufik told The Jakarta Post.

He added the materials would be distributed to schools early on Monday.

'€œJakarta is ready to hold the junior high school national examination tomorrow,'€ he said.

A total of 131,881 junior high school seniors in Jakarta will sit the national exam, slated to take place from Monday to Thursday.

Taufik highlighted that the agency did not set a particular pass target.

'€œOur target is to assist students to accomplish their respective targets,'€ he said. (ebf)
