Jambi Police have arrested two drug dealers in separate operations on Tuesday.
Jambi Police's narcotics unit director Sr.Comr.Irawan David Syah said that the two drug dealers ' Ardiansyah, 32, and Dadang, 30 ' were both former convicts.
Dadang was apprehended at the Taman Jaksa area, Telanaipura district, Jambi City, on Tuesday.
'We confiscated around half an ounce of marijuana from the suspect,' said Irawan on Wednesday.
Dadang's arrest led to the arrest of Ardiansyah.
'He (Ardiansyah) was apprehended near Tugu Pers, Murni sub-district, Telanaipura district on the same day. On the suspect we found around one kilogram of hashish and Rp 914,000 (US$93.6) in cash,' said Irawan.
Irawan said that the two suspects would be brought to justice under Law No.35/2009 on narcotics. (nai/ebf)
