T

he Association of Islamic Students Alumni (KAHMI) assembly presidium coordinator Mahfud MD said Islamic Students Association (HMI) members must be willing to fight corruption, even when it is committed by their colleagues.

"If any of our colleagues is corrupt, we must be the first ones to send him or her to prison," Mahfud said as quoted by Tempo.co during a HMI book launch in Jakarta on Thursday.

A couple of months ago, when he was still the Constitutional Court chief justice, Mahfud visited graft suspect Anas Urbaningrum as a show of moral support for a fellow HMI alumni.
