President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono plans to open a Facebook account, following his success at Twitter.

"Next month, Insya Allah, I will join Facebook," Yudhoyono said as quoted by kompas.com on Tuesday.

The President expects to interact directly with ordinary people through his social media accounts.

Yudhoyono's twitter account, launched in April, and has more than 2 million followers.
