he Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) says that they have no grudges against three Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) legislators who decided to walk out of a hearing involving the commission and the House of Representatives monitoring team on the Bank Century scandal.

KPK commissioner Bambang Widjojanto said the decision made by the PKS legislators was part of their constitutional right and had to be respected.

The legislators were Fahri Hamzah, Andi Rahmat and Indra.

Fahri said that the decision to walk out of the meeting was triggered by Bambang's remarks, which were considered offensive.

During the hearing, Bambang objected to legislators' remarks that the KPK had been too slow in investigating the Bank Century bailout.

"From the beginning, we had a firm commitment to solve this case. We have used our investigative strategies correctly. So, let's not use hyperbolic expressions. Only those who have the same brain frequency as us can comprehend what we have done so far," Bambang said.

The case revolves around the bank's bailout in 2008.

The cost of the bailout ballooned 10 times to Rp 6.7 trillion from its original estimation.
