ead vocalist with rock band Nidji, Giring Ganesha, said the band wanted to list their side businesses on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).
'The revenue from our businesses has been increasing. We want to establish a serious entertainment business,' Giring said on the sidelines of an investment summit in Surabaya, East Java, on Thursday.
Giring said as quoted by tempo.co that besides the revenue from the band's concerts and album sales, Nidji also made money from endorsements. He added that overseas celebrities whose names were virtually brands, such as David Beckham, were an inspiration to him.
'But there are a lot of things we need to do internally before we seek investors,' he said.
