Guess what?: Nidji wants to enter IDX

L

ead vocalist with rock band Nidji, Giring Ganesha, said the band wanted to list their side businesses on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

'€œThe revenue from our businesses has been increasing. We want to establish a serious entertainment business,'€ Giring said on the sidelines of an investment summit in Surabaya, East Java, on Thursday.

Giring said as quoted by tempo.co that besides the revenue from the band'€™s concerts and album sales, Nidji also made money from endorsements. He added that overseas celebrities whose names were virtually brands, such as David Beckham, were an inspiration to him.

'€œBut there are a lot of things we need to do internally before we seek investors,'€ he said.
