eavydownpours coupled with thunderstorms will continue throughout the archipelago nextweek, especially in South, East and West Jakarta, parts of Kalimantan, Bantenand West Java, says a forecaster.
'The weather conditions are heavily influenced by wind blowing from the Indian Ocean to the Java Sea and from Makassar Strait to the Arafuru Sea,' the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) stated in a press release on Friday.
Other areas that are likely to see heavy rain include South and Southeast Sulawesi, Maluku, West and East Nusa Tenggara. (krb)
