eavydownpours coupled with thunderstorms will continue throughout the archipelago nextweek, especially in South, East and West Jakarta, parts of Kalimantan, Bantenand West Java, says a forecaster.

'€œThe weather conditions are heavily influenced by wind blowing from the Indian Ocean to the Java Sea and from Makassar Strait to the Arafuru Sea,'€ the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) stated in a press release on Friday.

Other areas that are likely to see heavy rain include South and Southeast Sulawesi, Maluku, West and East Nusa Tenggara. (krb)
