Governor Joko “Jokowi” Widodo said that the city
administration had two low-cost apartments to accommodate residents of Kampung
Pulo in East Jakarta who have been displaced
by the annual floods.
“Some will be relocated to the low-cost
apartments in Cipinang Besar Selatan and others to Komaruddin apartments in
Cakung, East Jakarta,” he said at City Hall on

Thursday revealed that Kampung Pulo residents had agreed to the relocation
after six months of persuasion by the city administration.
