URAKARTA: Muhammad Lukminto, the owner of textile giant PT Sri Rejeki Isman (Sritex), who died on Feb. 7 at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore, was buried on Sunday in Karanganyar, Central Java.
Youth and Sports Minister Roy Suryo led the Islamic burial ceremony which was preceded by a Chinese ceremony organized by Lukminto's relatives.
Sritex, known for producing military uniforms for the Indonesian Military (TNI) and NATO member countries, provided 17 buses to take mourners from Thiong Ting funeral home in Surakarta to SHRI Garden family cemetery in Karanganyar.
