he South Jakarta Police have officially detained fivestudents from State Senior High School SMA 3, who are members of Jakarta'smountaineering club 'Sabhawana', for allegedly beating 16-year old ArfiandCaeser Al Irhami to death.

Jakarta Police spokesperson Sr. Comr. Rikwanto said the police had gathered enough evidence to prove the five students had assaulted Arfiand during their mountaineering trip to the Tangkuban Perahu area of West Java, as reported by tribunnews.com.

Previously, Rikwanto had said that the suspects consisted of four male students and one female student, all of whom were Arfiand's seniors. Furthermore, he said that the roles of each suspect were different from each other.

"There are those who hit and those who slapped [Arfiand]," he said at the Jakarta Police headquarters on Tuesday.

Rikwanto said without elaboration that there may also be other suspects named.

"There are other suspects, and we are now calling them in. All of them were there at the scene of the crime and they were all part of the mountaineering club," he said.

Previously, the police said that Arfiand's death was the result of unnatural cases, and said he was probably assaulted prior to his death. Arfiand was treated at the Metropolitan Medical Center (MMC) Hospital in Kuningan, South Jakarta, before he died.
