Guess what?: Prisia Nasution gets no stuntman in new film

Kapanlagi.com

Actress and model Prisia Nasution, 31, has decided to perform all her fight scenes on her own in her new film titled 3 (Three).

'€œWe got stuntmen but they weren'€™t skinny enough [to replace me in the fighting scenes]. When we tried one anyway, he ripped a pair of stockings,'€ the actress said as quoted by tempo.co, adding that she had to do a good number of fight scenes '€” from kicking, punching to hanging upside down.

Pia, her nickname, is familiar with martial arts as she has done Indonesian pencak silat since she was in junior high school. She is a former national athlete for pencak silat.

The actress, who was awarded Best Actress by the Indonesian Film Festival for her role in Sang Penari (The Dancer) in 2011, may no longer participate in martial arts competitions, but she'€™s still doing the routines regularly.

'€œIt is my regular exercise. I also do sparring sometimes, but isn'€™t serious,'€ she added.

3 is an action flick directed by Anggy Umbara. The film is set to hit theaters nationwide in September 2015.
