odel, musician and medical doctor Mesty Ariotedjo has just released a single, entitled Tentang Perempuan (About Woman), which was inspired by her work experience in Flores, East Nusa Tenggara.
The 26-year-old harp player said the life of women in the region was really different from women living in big cities like Jakarta.
'It was really exciting there. Life's not complicated and the women are always grateful,' she said as quoted by Antara news agency.
Mesty created the instrumental song in 2013, working together with composer Andreas Arianto, who is also the album's producer.
Through the song she wanted to promote classical music that was simple and could be enjoyed by many.
'I want to introduce classical music that is not complicated,' said Mesty who played piano on the single.
