ane reduction for private and public vehicles will be carried out amid the MRT depot construction on Jl. Pasar Jumat in Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta, starting Thursday.

“The lanes will be reduced from four for private vehicles and one dedicated bus lane for Transjakarta into a mixed lane of two for private vehicles and one for Transjakarta,” said PT MRTJakarta corporate secretary Tubagus Hikmatullah on Wednesday as quoted by kompas.com.

According to the report, the total length of the reduced lanes will be some 300 meters, starting from Nehemia Church in Lebak Bulus. The angkot [public minivan] stop will also be moved to the east side of the planned MRT station, around 150 meters from its original location.(kkk)
