A fire gutted a laundry room of St. Carolus Hospital in Salemba, Central Jakarta, on Friday afternoon.

Jakarta Fire Agency operational director Mulyanto stated that the agency deployed 22 fire trucks to extinguish the fire that broke out at 3:55 p.m.

“We have extinguished the fire,” he said as quoted by kompas.com, adding that no casualties were reported.

The agency is currently investigating the cause of the fire.
