he Wonderful Indonesia video that recently took home two awards at the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) Video Competition 2017 is now available for public viewing at the Terminal 1 of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, Banten.
“This is our form of appreciation for Indonesian tourism that has earned international awards. All Indonesians are proud of this video which is why Angkasa Pura II decided to play it on televisions and other digital media platforms available at Terminal 1,” said state-owned airport operator PT Angkasa Pura II president director Muhammad Awaluddin.

“Angkasa Pura II would like to take part in attracting 20 million foreign tourists in 2019,” he added.

Muhammad also said that Soekarno-Hatta International Airport is one of the main airports that welcome the highest number of foreign tourists.
Following the news, Tourism Minister Arief Yahya expressed his appreciation towards Angkasa Pura II for playing the video.
“Thank you Angkasa Pura II for your support towards tourism. This what Indonesia Incorporated looks like, where all parties work together in making tourism the leading sector, the highest foreign exchange contributor and the best in the world,” said Arief. (kes)
