Gusti Ngurai Rai International Airport will be closed from 3 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday following the eruption of Mount Agung in Bali on Thursday.

Furthermore, all AirAsia flights traveling to and from Denpasar on Friday have been cancelled.

Affected flights include AK 370, AK 371, AK 376, AK 377, AK 378, AK 379, D 7798, D 7799, QZ 550, QZ 551, QZ 554, QZ 555, QZ 556, QZ 557, QZ 558 and QZ 559 between Bali and Kuala Lumpur; QZ 502, QZ 503, QZ 504, QZ 505, QZ 506 and QZ 507 between Bali and Singapore; QZ 534, QZ 535, QZ 536, QZ 537, QZ 544 and QZ 545 between Bali and Perth; QZ 7510, QZ 7511, QZ 7531, QZ 7532, XT 7514, XT 7515, XT 7520, XT 7521, XT 7526, XT 7527, XT 7535, XT 7536, XT 800 and XT 801 between Bali and Jakarta; QZ 7912 and QZ 7913 between Bali and Bandung; XT 8440, XT 8441, XT 8448 and XT 8449 between Bali and Yogyakarta; and XT 8454 and XT 8455 between Bali and Surakarta.

Passengers whose flights are not on the list are advised to monitor updates on AirAsia's website and social media accounts and check the MyBooking feature on the airline's website.

AirAsia will send flight updates to affected passengers via e-mail and text message.

Passengers are advised to update all of their contact information on the AirAsia website to ensure they receive the notifications.

Passengers of canceled flights will be given the option to either reschedule their flight or accept a refund or credits.
