The new route aims at supporting Bandung’s potential in tourism and enhance connectivity, especially as the city is said to have welcomed more than 170,000 foreign tourists in 2017.

“We hope the flight will provide more access for international travelers to explore Bandung’s rich culture,” said Pikri Ilham Kurniansyah, Garuda Indonesia commercial director, in a statement. “We’re optimistic that this service will maximize the city’s potential in the future.” (wir/kes)
