op-tier luxury hotel brand Aman has launched a new sister brand that will offer more affordable rates and target primarily younger, digitally savvy pleasure seekers.
While Aman's portfolio features opulent resort retreats in some of the most remote and lush settings around the world for affluent travelers seeking privacy and seclusion, Janu is pitched more as a vibrant, dynamic brand.
"....Aman is a sanctuary, whereas Janu is connectedness; Aman offers refined respite, whereas Janu offers an energetic vibe for those seeking greater purpose with inner contentment," reads the press pitch.

"We saw a white space in the market, and we want to push the hotel industry into a new sphere," said Aman Chairman and CEO Vladislav Doronin in a statement.
"What with today's modern fast-paced society, which has seen human connection and communication redefined by the digital world, we wanted to create a new hotel brand with a soul and with the aim of kick-starting human interaction again."
The first three hotels to open under the Janu brand are set for Montenegro (2022), Al Ula in Saudi Arabia (2022) and Tokyo (2022).
