f you are looking for a TV series to obsess over, then check out our list of the five most-watched Korean dramas. This list was made based on Nielsen Korea’s rating and Naver, a large Korean portal site’s real-time most searched drama terms.

Another Miss Oh

Because of misunderstandings, Park Do Kyung (Eric Mun) destroyed Oh Hae Young’s (Seo Hyun Jin) marriage. Do Kyung thought that his fiancée, a woman also named Oh Hae Young (Jeon Hye Bin) left him to marry the other Hae Young’s fiancé. Before both sides find out about this, Do Kyung, who is very sensitive with sounds, starts to see visions. This drama airs on tvN and is expected to have 18 episodes.

Lucky Romance

Shim Bo Nui (Hwang Jung Eum) is a woman who believes in superstitions and everything related to luck. Meanwhile, Je Soo Ho (Ryu Jun Yeol) is a genius with an IQ of 200 who doesn't believe in any of it. As Bo Nui was told to catch a man born in the year of the Tiger and Soo Ho happens to be one such man, they became entangled in an unpredictable fate. The drama airs on MBC and is expected to have 16 episodes.

Monster

When he was young, Lee Guk Cheol (Kang Ji Hwan) lost his wealth and family because of his uncle's doings. In an instant, his life turned: from a rich young master to a beggar. After changing his identity, he promised to get revenge. Yet, the it is not an easy task as he faces Do Gun Woo (Park Ki Woong), the illegitimate son of a chairman and Oh Soo Yeon (Sung Yu Ri), who reminds Guk Cheol of someone he developed feelings for in his younger days. The drama airs in MBC and is slated to have 50 episodes.

Five Enough

Lee Sang Tae (Ahn Jae Wook) is a single father with two children after his wife passed away. Meanwhile, Ahn Mi Jung (So Yu Jin), a mother of three children is left alone after her husband had an affair with her friend, but she is unable to tell her children nor her family about it. Although both did not think they would ever fall in love again, the two met and fell in love. This family drama airs on KBS and is slated to have 50 episodes.

Flower in Prison

The drama is set during Korea’s Joseon dynasty era. Ok Nyeo (Jin Se Yeon) is a woman who was born and raised in a prison. As she knows what it is like to suffer from wrong accusations, she is very determined to uphold justice. With the help of a mysterious man named Yoon Tae Won (Go Soo), she then works within the waeji-bu, a private litigation system at the time, to help the poor clear their names. The drama airs on MBC and is expected to have 50 episodes. (asw)
