You got it right
ou got it right. We're talking about hits that made a lot of his fans whistle in the past such as Walking Away, What's your Flava?, Fill Me In, 7 Days and Hot Stuff. These are some of the tunes they will enjoy live on April 8, as the English R&B singer-songwriter Craig Ashley David is performing in Singapore as a part of his Greatest Hits Tour. The album was fi rst released in November 2008. In support of the release, he launched a couple of singles to promote the album. Where's Your Love featuring Tinchy Stryder and Rita Ora, a homage to his UK garage days. Then next, the second single,Insomnia, produced by Jim Beanz from Timbaland productions, a dance track with hard bassline beats, was released the following week on Nov. 17, 2008.
But one interesting thing about the Greatest Hits compilation is the re-recording of Walking Away that David did with four different artists across Europe: Monrose from Germany, Nek from Italy, Lynnsha from France and Alex ubago from Spain. A good collaboration that gave birth to an awesome result. With a phenomenal success with 13 million album sales worldwide after bursting onto the scene with his debut album Born To do It, Craig David has already marked his existence in the music industry. Since then, he has released four successful studio albums and the recent Greatest Hits album.
The Greatest Hits Tour will feature the chart-topping singles from all four albums with the abovementioned hits, also Rewind (with Artful Dodger), Rise & Fall (with Sting) and his latest single Insomnia, which is on the top of the playing list in radios in Singapore. Peeping into what he has snatched in his pocket, David isn't doing bad at all. He has snatched a number of highly prestigious awards for Songwriter of the Year and Best Contemporary Song, four MOBOs (one for Best UK Act) and two MTV Europe Awards as well as multiple Grammy and Brit nominations. The Singapore concert is brought by Live Nation. Please click on www.sistic.com.sg for more information on ticketing and booking.
