JAKARTA: Actress Tamara Bleszynski has two good reasons to welcome this holy month of Ramadan: she’s returning to the world of sinetron (soap opera) and she’s expecting a baby.
Tamara, who’s currently shooting her Ramadan-themed sinetron Surga Untukmu (Heaven for You), talked over the weekend about the joys of being pregnant.
“I’m now five months pregnant,” the 36-year-old said, as quoted by Cek & Ricek. “[Meanwhile] This job is like a blessing, a gift, which has come along while I am pregnant.
Tamara, once dubbed the country’s highest-paid sinetron star, said she was excited about her comeback to the sinetron world.
“There was this longing inside me to entertain TV audiences,” said model Mike Lewis’ wife. “Fortunately, the offer came at the right time, because the [sinetron’s] script is about a pregnant woman.”
The former wife of Teuku Pasya added that she was a bit nervous because she hadn’t acted in a sinetron for such a long time. — JP
