AKARTA: Hundreds of Beliebers, a term coined to refer to die-hard fans of teen sensation Justin Bieber, aired their disappointment over the weekend with the confusing online ticketing system set by the promoter Marygops studio.
The promoters had earlier said that tickets for Justin Bieber’s April 23 gig would be available online on Sunday, but official online ticket seller for the show, rajakarcis.com, said that no purchases for the tickets were possible because of technical difficulties.
At around 10 a.m. on March 20 the website published an announcement about a delay in expected ticket sales.
A number of Bieber fans were disappointed with the news.
One Bieber fan, Kristiani Maria, complained about the promoter’s unprofessional conduct.
“The promoter and ticket seller for the Justin Bieber concert are not professional,” Kristiani said, as quoted by detik.com on Sunday.
Kristiani said she began trying to access the website at 10 a.m. After an hour she saw that ticket sales would be delayed.
“This kind of thing has happened early on with the promoter. We always have confusing information,” she said. — JP
