lobal communication agency FleishmanHillard (FH) is expanding its services in Indonesia, now the company's most rapidly growing market, to further tap into the country's growing public relations (PR) market.
The company's president and chief executive officer, Dave Senay, said in Jakarta on Thursday that the firm would provide a combination of digitally led integrated communications services and strategic communication consulting services to help local and multinational companies in the country.
'The business prospect of communication consulting services is growing in Indonesia. The approach we offer will help companies win the market,' he said.
He added that its Indonesian branch had recorded the fastest performance growth in the history of FleishmanHillard.
The agency's Indonesian unit has been profitable since the start of its operations and has continued to develop.
Senai said that Indonesia showed promise for the development of communication consultant firms as many local companies had the potential and willingness to set foot in the global market.
'Our company helps advocate these firms to build their reputations and strengthen their brand management,' he said.
FleishmanHillard, which was founded in 1946 by military officer and author Alfred Fleishman and former journalist Bob Hillard, focuses on public relations, public affairs, online reputation management as well as policy advocacy services for multinational companies.
General Manager of FleishmanHillard Indonesia Louisa Tuhatu said that the agency had focused on attaining clients engaged in three main sectors: technology, automotive and consumer goods.
Its number of clients, she added, had now reached 40 companies, of which the majority were multinational firms.
Earlier this week, FleishmanHillard officially announced the opening of firms's local unit in Bangkok, Thailand.
The move boosts the agency's offering in the fast-growing Southeast Asia region, which already features owned operations in Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines and Indonesia.
The Thai unit will provide digitally led integrated communications services to clients across the corporate, technology, financial services, consumer and hospitality sector. (tam)
