Ska group Shaggydog plans to release a photo-biography to mark the band'€™s 17th anniversary this year.

Heru Wahyono, vocalist of the Yogyakarta-based band, said the book would tell the story of the band from their beginnings in the late 1990s.

'€œThe book will consist of photos with captions. The pictures will tell many stories about us, on and off stage, including our tour of the Netherlands and Belgium,'€ Heru said as quoted by kompas.com in Medan, North Sumatra.

The collection in the 200-page long book, Heru said, was a selection from a total of 10,000 pictures by 20 photographers.

Shaggydog consists of Heru, Richard Bernado and Raymondus Anton Bramantoro on guitars, Aloysius Oddisey Sanco on bass, Lilik Sugiyarto on keyboards and Yustinus Satria Hendrawan on drums.

It is one of the very few ska bands to have survived from the golden age of ska in Indonesia in the late 1990s.
